I’m writing to let you know that we will be holding our main Hickory Tournament again this year.
I’m sorry to announce this only now, but organizing it required a lot of time and contact with the highest local and national officials of the Italian Golf Federation.
This year, the ITALIAN HICKORY TROPHY will be held at the Royal Park I Roveri Golf Club, www.royalparkgolf.it a club with two 18-hole courses considered one of the best in Italy and which has hosted the Italian Open five times.
Our tournament will take place of Friday, June 26th, with the option (but not mandatory) of a test the course on Thursday, June 25th.
The 83rd Italian Open will be held from June 25th to 28th at Golf Torino, which adjoins the Royal Park I Roveri Golf Club.
Everyone will be able to attend free of charge.
We are also in contact with the General Manager of the Italian Open to ensure that we are allocated a space within the 83rd Italian Open program a performance or presentation of the Hickory world.
Furthermore, the Royal Park I Roveri Golf Club is very close to the Reggia di Venaria, www.lavenaria.it the largest Royal Residence that has been compared to the Palace of Versailles and hosts splendid exibitions, which I recommend you visit.
I should also add that Turin, my hometown, has its Patron Saint’s Day on June 24th, and there will be fireworks displays and more.
We are preparing the event program and will send it to you as soon as possible, but if you are already sure about attending, I recommend you look for hotel accomodations now, as we hava not yet made a special agreement for our event.
